Harbor Freight Wire Welder Not Feeding Wire. this is how i i fix the wire feed for my harbor freight 90 amp welder. It seems to want to spin the motor over but it doesn't have the power to push the wire at all. how to fix harbor freight 90 amp flux wire welder wire feed slipping wire not feeding. This can be done via pumping compressed air in short bursts to get rid of. Not sure if that could be a relay/switch to turn on the gas or relay for the wire. my welder will not feed wire anymore. with the mig welder not feeding wire, you should consider cleaning your feed liner. when i pull the feed trigger, i can hear a relay click but no wire feed. feed mechanism open, no wire installed, feed roller removed, so there is literally nothing left connected to the feed. when you press the trigger on a wire feed welder the wire should start coming out and continue until you release.
